Description
Plantation Australia 2007, a vintage limited edition rum, hails from Beenleigh Artisan Distillery. Distilled from molasses in pot stills in 2007, it has a unique fermentation process using two yeasts, aged 13 years in bourbon casks and 1 year in Ferrand casks in France. Its alcohol volume is 49.3%, with no added sugar or caramel.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Stone fruits (peach, apricot), fresh vanilla, coconut, raisins, floral notes of iris and lilac.
Palate: Cooked fruits, citrus, and smooth cacao hints.
Finish: Exotic fruits, vanilla, and a hint of wood.
